Leah Bleich is an LA-based director, producer and writer. Leah recently completed her feature directorial debut, THE MOON AND BACK, which won awards at Academy Award-qualifying film festivals across the country before being acquired by Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment. Leah was one of eleven directors selected for MTV Entertainment Studios’s First Time Director’s Initiative, during which she wrote and directed an ad campaign that aired nationally on MTV & Comedy Central. Recently, Leah sold a six-episode scripted podcast to AudioUp Media, wrote a feature for MarVista Entertainment, directed and produced a YouTube series with millions of views, and directed two docu-series for PBS and Roadtrip Nation. Leah is currently in development on her second feature film via a fellowship with the Jewish Writers Institute.

Leah has a background as a development executive. She began her career in the mailroom at Creative Artists Agency, and became a Creative Executive at Solstice Studios, where she worked closely on the films UNHINGED with Russell Crowe and HYPNOTIC with Ben Affleck. Most recently, she served as a Creative Executive in Comedy TV for Just For Laughs, where she produced projects with talent including Marlon Wayans, Diplo, Pete Holmes, Nicole Byer, and Nikki Glaser.
